The Bunkhouse
Our child, family and disability friendly bunkhouse is located at Tondu House Farm, surrounded by 43 acres of natural historical woodlands and wild meadows.
The comfortable and spacious bunkhouse offers an entire home with 4 bedrooms, 12 beds, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with a communal sitting area, that can easily accommodate up to 12 guests and is suitable for short breaks and longer holidays with family, friends and small groups.
There is free parking for several cars on site.
Guests will have free access to Wi-Fi, subject to the conditions of use are in our house rules.
We operate a strict no smoking or vaping policy in the bunkhouse.
Pets may be allowed but this must be discussed and agreed before making a booking.*
We can arrange a hot tub for your stay.*
We can also organise transport to and from Cardiff and the South Wales region in our minibus, and if you wish a guided tour of the locality.*
We aim to ensure guests always have a really comfortable stay, and can provide extras such as a BBQ and wood for our outdoor wood burning pizzeria to ensure maximum enjoyment.*

We recommend that guests bring walking boots or wellingtons to make full use of the site and explore the wonderful woodlands and lush meadows.
The bunkhouse is located 5 minutes from Junction 36 of the M4 and 26 miles from Cardiff Airport. There is easy access from the bunkhouse to local attractions, beaches, horse riding, pubs, restaurants and shops.
Our bunkhouse is an integral part of the organisation and provides us with valuable fund that allows us to deliver the activities, events, programmes and projects that support the mission, aims and goals of STEER.
